Austin legislators are taking input on how to reform our Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) during the final steps of the once-every-twelve-years Sunset Review of the Commission.
The problem? While we support continuing the existence of the agency itself, the TCEQ Sunset Commission’s recommended reforms, as introduced in House Bill 1505 last week, lacked substance.
The solution? We can do better! Please take action now to let your legislators AND the Chair and Vice Chair of the House Committee on Environmental Regulation, as well as members of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Economic Development, who will next hear the bill, know that we want better!
