New Egypt, NJ--On Sunday, October 3, 2010 the NJ Environmental Federation and Clean Water Fund hosted an "Autumn Toast to the Environment" at Laurita Winery in New Egypt. With almost 100 attendees, we'd like to thank our staff, board members, guests, sponsors, and gift donors for helping make this wonderful event a huge success!
Guests enjoyed a lovely autumn day at Laurita Winery tasting wine, chocolate, hors d'oevres and listening to a live jazz performance by Revelation Jazz Ensemble. In addition, NJ Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Marting and U.S. Congressman Chris Smith attended the event, giving remarks and answering questions regarding environmental issues of greatest concern to us.
All proceeds benefited the clean water and environmental programs of the NJ Environmental Federation and Clean Water Fund.
