Great Lakes, Great Michigan Coalition

Protecting Our Water for Future Generations

Water is what makes Michigan great. Yet Michigan's water use laws need to be strengthened so that large corporations, like mining and water bottling companies, aren't allowed to treat our Great Lakes as their own, even sending Michigan's waters to other states and countries. Irresponsible water users already have dried up wells, ponds, and wetlands across the state, leaving Michigan citizens and natural resources to pay the price for unregulated use of our state's water.
