Kadineyse Paz is a Bryn Mawr College Alumnae and a Posse Foundation Scholarship recipient. She graduated in 2014 with a degree in Growth and Structure of Cities and a minor in Environmental Studies. She has worked as an organizer and community activist for 3 years now, first starting at the Fenway CDC and now at Clean Water Action working on toxic chemical exposure issues. Besides working at Clean Water she is also working at the Boston Tenant Coalition as the program associate, fighting for the improvement of Boston's housing policy and tenant rights legislation. Born and raised in Dorchester and now a resident of Roslindale, Kadineyse takes all of the disparities people face because of racial inequality and institutional/systemic prejudice personally, especially the most affected class; the underprivileged. Her goal is to work towards creating a more equitable Boston for her family and fellow residents. But alas, everyone needs a break from saving the world and her favorite activities to do so are: playing squash, eating (most favorably sushi), and traveling as much as possible!
