Vick joined the Clean Water Action staff in the Spring of 2018. Before Clean Water Action, Vick worked for the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, and Energy in the Massachusetts House of Representatives where he worked on clean energy legislation including solar energy, large scale renewable energy procurements, and energy efficiency.
Vick graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and from Bard College's Center for Environmental Policy with a Master of Science in Climate Science and Policy. His expertise lies in state environmental and energy policy with a focus on environmental justice and energy economics. He grew up in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts where he was a part of the Boy Scouts Troop 114, Indian Youth Group, New England Karate Academy, and Shrewsbury High School's Political Action Committee. He currently lives next door in Worcester where he volunteers with environmental and social enterprise organizations using his background in climate science and heterodox economics respectively. In his free time, Vick enjoys tennis, science fiction, comic books, and overly complicated games of all types.
