PFAS chemicals have been dubbed “forever chemicals”, because they are extremely persistent, lasting thousands of years in the environment. Tell EPA: Don’t Roll Back PFAS Drinking Water Protections

In 2024, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized the first-ever national drinking water limits for several Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals. Now, the agency is proposing to roll back protections for several PFAS substances, while also providing an option to delay compliance deadlines for other dangerous chemicals.
