Carolyn Apsey

Carolyn joined Clean Water Action in 2023 as a Development Associate. Growing up on Florida's Gulf Coast, Carolyn's life always revolved around water. On weekends you would find her swimming in Florida's crystal clear springs, volunteering at the local aquarium, or scuba diving off the coast. After earning her bachelor's degree in history from Columbia University, she moved to Virginia. As a Development Associate for Clean Water Action, she is able to enjoy her other passion, which is connecting people to causes they care about most.

In her off time, you can find Carolyn either floating down the Shenandoah River or visiting local breweries with her greyhound Copper and her husband Josh.
